Button to John's Castle

While for the last years I've been peoccupied with different projects (too many interests for one life), I have had a certain focus on mediaeval topics for much of my youth. I studied German Mediaeval Language and Literature as well as History at University, I practised European longsword fencing at a HEMA club, I co-founded a 12th century reenactment group and I used to play and sing in a mediaeval musical theater group.

In this castle I might share stuff about myself, my own creations, maybe even some knowledge over time. Make sure to come back regularly if you're interested in that! :-) For now you can roam around the castle grounds, chat by the fire, and explore all the cool mediaeval things I find on the Internet!

If you have any questions about German mediaeval language or literature, please don't hesitate to send me a carrier pidgeon! I might be able to help.

"You are dutiful and heroic. You have been reconnected with a family heirloom."
I was inspired to create this mediaeval-themed site by the legendary Lord Vulkn, whose unabashed, passionate nerdiness I admire. Actually, I'd love to create a sort of mediaeval themed "Knights of the Internet" webring, like he was part of, but I don't understand the Onionring script yet. If you'd be interested in that, please let me know!
Many thanks to the mighty Code-Wizard DanQ for helping me in my fight with the JavaScript!
